Revenue Is No Longer a Sales Problem. It’s a Leadership One.

The RevenueGetter Coaching Certification is a 12-month program that gives revenue-responsible leaders the frameworks, practice, and credential to coach their teams for measurable performance improvement, not just better conversations.

Led by Ryan Taft, Certified Speaking Professional and three-time bestselling author of RevenueGetter

Price increases to $10,000 on August 1st.

Right now, you probably run one-on-ones that feel like status updates.

You give feedback that sounds vague even as you're saying it. You know someone on your team is struggling, and you’ve told them what to fix, but three months later they’re still doing the same thing.

AI tools can tell you what a coaching conversation should look like. They can summarize a call, flag a missed step, and generate a development plan. What they cannot do is teach you how to sit across from a person who is defensive, overwhelmed, or stuck, and actually move them forward.

That’s a human skill. And right now, most leaders are doing it by instinct, hoping it works.

According to Gartner, 85% of new managers receive no formal training before stepping into their role. They were promoted because they performed. Nobody trained them to develop performance in others. That gap has a real cost.

“RevenueGetter is the playbook every sales leader wishes they’d had on day one. Engaging and grounded in real experience — this is the kind of book that actually moves the needle.”

— DR. MARSHALL GOLDSMITH

Thinkers50 #1 executive coach and New York Times bestselling author of The Earned Life, Triggers, and What Got You Here Won’t Get You There

Three private programs have already run with leading organizations in the home building industry. A fourth starts this fall.

What the Program Looks Like

Over 12 months, you’ll attend four full-day in-person intensive sessions held at rotating national locations—so no one is always making the longest trip. The 2026 class met in Phoenix, Charleston, Chicago, and San Antonio.

Between sessions, you’ll complete monthly one-hour coaching calls, structured assignments tied directly to the real conversations you’re already having with your team, and peer practice sessions with other leaders in the program.

Session 4 is your test-out. If you’ve been doing the work—attending sessions, completing coaching assignments, and implementing the frameworks with your team—you will pass. You’ll receive an official credentialed certification and a digital badge to add to your LinkedIn profile.

What Changes After Certification

A sales leader coaching a team member one on one

You’ll know exactly which performance gap is holding each person on your team back, and you’ll have a coaching approach that fits that gap specifically, not a one-size feedback template you apply to everyone. Your team members will start owning their improvement instead of waiting for direction. Your one-on-ones will stop feeling like status updates and start feeling like the most valuable hour in their week.

And you’ll have a credential that says what most management training doesn’t give you: proof that you can develop people, not just manage them.

Derrick R. | Sales Leader

“Before the certification, my coaching conversations were often more instinctive. I could see where conversations broke down, but I didn't have a clear structure for helping someone else discover it for themselves.

After completing the program, I became much more intentional with my questions. I started slowing the conversation down, listening for the real obstacle, and guiding the person to identify the next best action instead of just telling them what I would do. That created a much better coaching moment because they were able to build the solution themselves.

This program is not just about learning how to coach better. It changes the way you think about leadership.”

Led by Ryan Taft

Creator of the RevenueGetter Method

Ryan Taft, author of RevenueGetter, and creator of the RevenueGetter Coaching Certification

Ryan Taft has spent more than two decades inside sales organizations, coaching the leaders responsible for developing the people responsible for revenue. He’s worked with teams across the country, from individual contributors to executive leadership, and what he consistently finds is the same gap: technically strong leaders who were never taught how to develop the people around them.

The RevenueGetter Certification is the program he built because that gap has a real cost: in performance, in retention, and in the revenue that never gets closed because no one knew how to help the person who could have closed it. Ryan is a Certified Speaking Professional, the three-time bestselling author of RevenueGetter, an Amazon bestseller in both Business Mentoring & Coaching and Sales & Selling, and the creator of the 4E Coaching Method™, the methodology this certification is built on.

The Belief Behind the Method

Everything in this certification traces back to one idea about what a revenue leader is actually responsible for. Ryan spent more than two decades inside sales organizations watching capable leaders get stuck in the exact same place, and what he learned reshaped how he defines the job. Give it ninety seconds and you'll see what the whole program is built to do.

Common questions before enrolling

  • It is. This isn’t a two-day workshop with a workbook. It’s 12 months of deliberate coaching practice with live mentorship, real accountability, and a credential at the end. Most leadership development programs give you a weekend and a PDF. This gives you a year of actually doing the work, with someone who will tell you when your coaching isn’t landing and show you how to fix it. Two payment options are available. See the enrollment section below.

  • The in-person commitment is four one-day sessions across the year. Monthly coaching calls are one hour. The assignments between sessions are tied to conversations you’re already having with your team. They make those conversations more intentional, not additional. Realistically, participants spend about two and a half hours per month on between-session work. Most tell us the program doesn’t add to their workload. It makes their existing workload more effective.

  • AI tools can identify a performance pattern, summarize a call, and generate a coaching script. What they cannot do is read the room, earn trust in a difficult conversation, or help someone who is resistant to feedback actually receive it. The RevenueGetter Certification teaches the part no platform can automate: the human judgment and relational skill that turns a coaching moment into a lasting behavior change.

  • Many of our participants bring this program to their leadership team as a proposal before enrolling. If that is your situation, we are happy to provide a one-page program overview you can share internally. Reach out to Lindsey at lindsey@impacteightyeight.com and she will send it to you directly.

Ready to commit to the year? Here’s how enrollment works.

It's one of the highest-ROI leadership programs I've participated in. If you're responsible for improving results through others, this program will help you become a much more effective coach."

“I would absolutely recommend this program. The way the sessions are broken down makes coaching feel natural, simple, and actionable. As managers, we often receive guidance on how to implement processes and procedures, but not on how to truly develop talent. This program fills that gap in a very practical and impactful way.”

 FAQs

Enrollment & Logistics

  • Once your payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email immediately. If you enroll now, the program does not begin until January 2027, so your next communication from us will arrive in September with your Know Before You Go guide, which covers everything you need to book travel and prepare for the first session. If you enroll after September, you will receive your Know Before You Go guide shortly after payment. In the meantime, if you have any questions, reach out to Lindsey at lindsey@impacteightyeight.com.

  • The program runs quarterly, with one full-day in-person intensive per quarter across the calendar year. The 2027 first session will be held in Phoenix. Full session dates and remaining locations will be confirmed and communicated in September when travel details are released. We intentionally rotate locations nationally so no one is always making the longest trip.

  • Attendance at all four sessions is required for certification, and we take that commitment seriously. That said, we understand that life happens. For genuine extenuating circumstances, such as a a medical issue, a major life event, a job change, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis. In the past, we have arranged private two-hour make-up sessions for participants facing circumstances beyond their control.

What we will not do is arrange make-up sessions for scheduling conflicts or general busyness. If a participant misses a session without a qualifying reason, they may complete the remaining sessions and test out in a future year. We want you to complete the program, and we will always find a path forward for participants who are genuinely committed.

  • If the 2027 class fills before you enroll, we will add you to the waitlist for the next available program class. Your price will lock in at the rate that was available when you joined the waitlist. We will contact you as soon as a spot opens or a new class is announced.

The certification

  • Graduates receive the official RevenueGetter Certified Coach credential, issued by Impact Eighty-Eight. The certification recognizes completion of the 4E Coaching Method™, microskill identification and development, pipeline coaching strategy, and a year of applied coaching practice with your team.

You will receive a digital badge to add directly to your LinkedIn profile under Licenses and Certifications. The credential name is RevenueGetter Coaching Certification, issued by Impact Eighty-Eight. The badge carries a two-year expiration, standard practice for professional coaching credentials, which signals to your network that your certification is actively maintained.

LinkedIn skills associated with the credential include: Sales Coaching, Performance Coaching, Sales Leadership, Sales Team Development, Coaching Methodology, and Revenue Growth.

  • Session 4 is your test-out. Ryan will present mock coaching scenarios and you will demonstrate your ability to gather the right intel, identify the microskill to coach, and complete a full coaching session using the 4E Method™. If you have attended the sessions, completed your assignments, and applied the frameworks with your team throughout the year, you will pass.

The most common reasons participants do not complete the test-out are incomplete homework submissions or inability to attend the Session 4 date. In either case, the door stays open. You can attend a future test-out session at no additional cost. We want every participant who has done the work to earn their certification.

money + Commitment

  • We do not offer refunds once the program year has begun. Here is why: we commit to our participants in advance by locking in session locations, securing venues, and building a leadership group that counts on every seat being filled from day one. The program content also builds sequentially, which means seats cannot be backfilled mid-year without disrupting the group.

That said, we are not inflexible. In the event of a serious medical emergency or significant life circumstance before the program begins, we will consider a full or partial refund, or defer your enrollment to the following year at no additional cost. If life deals you something genuinely unexpected before January, reach out to Lindsey and we will find a fair path forward.

What this means for you: enroll when you are ready to commit, and know that we are committed to you in return.

  • Seats are non-transferable without our mutual agreement. However, we are reasonable about this. If your company enrolled you and your situation changes before the program begins, whether a job change, a role shift, or a departure, we can work with your organization to substitute another eligible leader in your place.

Transfer requests must be submitted by the second week of January, before the first session begins. All transfer requests go to lindsey@impacteightyeight.com. We need enough time to ensure the incoming participant receives all pre-session communications and is enrolled in the right tools before day one.

  • Two payment options are available for early enrollment through July 31st:

Pay in Full: $8,888 charged at enrollment. This is the lowest available rate.

Monthly Payment Plan: 5 payments of $1,888.80, beginning at enrollment and continuing every 30 days. Total: $9,444. All payments must be complete before the January 2027 program start.

After July 31st, tuition is $10,000 paid in full before January. If you need a payment plan after the deadline, contact Lindsey at lindsey@impacteightyeight.com and we will work out a custom schedule that completes before the program begins.

private programs

  • Private program pricing is fully customized based on your team size, location, and scheduling requirements. Because Ryan comes to you rather than your leaders traveling to rotating national locations, we build in travel and logistics costs on our side, which often makes a private program more cost-effective per person than sending eight or more leaders to the public program class.

To get a custom quote for your organization, reach out to Lindsey at lindsey@impacteightyeight.com or use the contact form below.

  • Faster than you might expect. We recently contracted with a builder, had our first planning conversation, and ran their first session with ten leaders, all within 45 days. How quickly we can move depends on how quickly we can align on team composition and calendar availability.

What we do ask is that you reach out now even if you are not planning to start until 2027. Ryan's calendar books up well in advance, and reaching out early secures your preferred dates. If you want to start in 2026, we have a limited number of dates still available, but fewer than four.

  • We generally suggest a private program for organizations with eight or more sales leaders or managers, because at that scale, the economics and the cohesion of a dedicated program work in your favor. That said, we have run private programs for smaller leadership teams and we are open to the conversation. If you have four to six leaders you want to certify together, reach out and we will find the right structure.

the program experience

  • The public program class brings together leaders from a range of industries and roles. The 2026 class includes owner-CEOs, executive VPs, Directors of Sales, marketing leaders, and operators of training companies. What they share is not an industry. It is the responsibility for revenue and the people who produce it.

While our roots are in the home building industry, the 2027 class is drawing strong interest from leaders outside of home building. If you lead a team responsible for revenue, whether in sales, marketing, operations, or any other function, and you manage or assess the performance of others, this program was built for you.

  • No. Reading RevenueGetter is a great way to preview the thinking behind the program, and if you have already read it you will arrive with strong context for the frameworks we build on throughout the year. But it is not a prerequisite.

The 2026 class is proof: the book was not published until April 2026, but the program began in January. Every participant started without the book and completed the certification. If you want to read it before enrolling, start there. If you want to enroll first, that is equally fine.

  • Realistically, about two and a half hours per month. Here is what that looks like in practice: the assignments between sessions are tied directly to the coaching conversations you are already having with your team. We are not asking you to do extra work on top of your day job. We are asking you to do your day job more intentionally.

A typical assignment might ask you to document where you currently gather coaching intel about your team, build a simple scorecard for one team member, or record a coaching session and note what you would do differently. Every assignment has an immediate payoff for your team, not just for your certification progress.

policies

  • Yes. By enrolling and attending, you agree that Impact Eighty-Eight may use group photos, individual photos, testimonials, and program outcomes for marketing purposes, including on our website, social media, and in promotional materials. We celebrate our graduates publicly. It is part of how we build the community and the visibility of this credential.

If you have a specific concern about your photo or likeness being used, reach out to Lindsey before the program begins and we will note it in your file. We will not feature participants who have opted out in individual photos or direct quotes, though group session photos may still include you.

company sponsorship policies

  • Once the program has begun, seats cannot be substituted or transferred to a new participant, and tuition is non-refundable. The reason is straightforward: the program content builds sequentially across all four sessions, and a new participant joining mid-year cannot realistically complete a certification built on progressive learning. We have also already committed to and paid for every session, including venues, logistics, and Ryan's time, well in advance of each quarterly session.

We understand this can feel frustrating when the situation is outside your control as an employer. But the enrollment is with the individual participant, and what happens between an employer and employee after that point is outside our relationship with either party.

If the employee who left your company wishes to continue and complete the certification on their own, that option is absolutely available to them. The seat is theirs and they are welcome to finish what they started. They will simply be responsible for their own travel expenses going forward.

  • Great question, and one we encourage every company sponsor to think through before paying. We have seen situations where a company invests in an employee's certification and that employee leaves the company partway through the year. Because the seat belongs to the individual once the program has begun, we are unable to transfer it or issue a refund, and that situation becomes a conversation between the employer and the departing employee, not between either party and us.

What we recommend: before paying for an employee's enrollment, consider putting a simple internal agreement in place that outlines your expectations and protects your investment. That agreement is entirely between you and your employee, and we do not have a role in it, but it might address things like:

    •     A commitment to complete the program and remain with the company through a defined period after certification

    •     A repayment arrangement if the employee leaves before completing the program or within a certain window after certification

    •     Clarity on who owns the travel costs if the employment relationship changes mid-program

We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice, just a practical suggestion based on what we have seen. The companies that get the most from this investment are the ones who have an honest conversation with their leaders about what the commitment looks like on both sides before enrollment begins.

in their words

“My team is less defensive because the feedback feels less personal and more centered on the customer, who we emphasize as the main character in every interaction.”

“More intentional coaching. Less wasted time. Better results.”

“This program helps you become more aware of your influence, your communication, and the responsibility you have to help others grow.”

“I stopped giving answers. Now my team builds the solution themselves. That one shift changed every coaching conversation I have.”

The Methodology Behind the Certification

Book titled "Revenue Getter: How to Build and Coach Sales Teams That Win" by Ryan Taft, featuring an image of a silver whistle with a black lanyard on the cover.

The frameworks you’ll certify in—the 4E Coaching Method™, the Microskill Identifier Tool, the Pipeline Impact Call system—are grounded in the ideas in the book RevenueGetter. If you want to read the thinking before you commit to the program, start there.

Coaching isn’t extra work. It’s real leadership.
